Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, Director General of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, stressed that paying attention to the aspirations, needs and well-being of the community is a top priority that enjoys the attention and care of the wise leadership that makes every effort to make society happy, and to give all segments of society the necessary care, especially people with disability, by providing service and entertainment facilities that are appropriate with their needs and meet their requirements.

This came through a ceremony organized by the municipality recently on the Abu Dhabi Corniche to receive the certificate of the World Disability Union, in appreciation and recognition of the capabilities and specifications of a number of service and entertainment facilities that are compatible with the requirements of the category of people with disability, namely: (Corniche Beach, Al-Bahr Beach) due to the fact that these two facilities contain All necessities to make people with disability happy and help them perform their sports, entertainment and recreational activities.

The Director General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality added that the municipality puts at the top of its strategies the principle of aligning various infrastructure projects, garden projects and recreational areas with the requirements and needs of people with disabilities. Within this framework, the municipality provides dozens of multi-purpose playgrounds, with international and special specifications that suit the needs of people with disability.
